1) Newspaper Collecting in Tampines
We will be going for this newspaper collecting as it is part of our APEL requirement.Attendance is COMPULSORY!
If you're absent or can't make it,you've got to find another organization to help out by yourself.
Date: 1st Nov 2008
Time: 8am
Venue to meet: Mushroom
Attire: Asc Orientation Shirt,Trackpants/Long pants,Shoes.
*Avoid jeans.
Things to bring: Umbrella,Waterbottle and some $$ yo!
Pls ensure that attire is appropriate or will be sent back home.
2) Class Meeting!
Pls stay behind after our 11am tutorial ( which is BMic) for a class discussion for CCN day.

CELL BIOLOGY ASSIGNMENT (AY2008/09)
On a single sheet of A3 paper / hardboard / any drawing medium, draw a comprehensive diagram of the following cells:
1) Animal Cell
2) Bacterium
The following information must be shown:
1) Label the cell organelles and important structures of the cell(s)
2) Explain wherever there are significant structure-function relationships
Guidelines:
work with the group members (max: 6 students, at least 4 students). Each group to submit one A3 chart. Submit it to your tutor’s Pigeon Hole, Level 4, BLK8.
the information must be written or drawn. Nothing printed is to be used.
use of colour is welcomed and encouraged.
3D or moveable parts can also be incorporated (3D parts should not be too protruding)
Due date:
Week 31, 21 Nov 2008 (Friday), 5:00pm. Submit to tutor’s pigeon hole Level 4, BLK 8.
10% of marks will be deducted for each day of late submission.
Any submission made after 5pm on the 23rd Nov 2008 (Monday) will not be graded.
Assessment (5 % of the subject):
Sufficiency of Information : 5 marks
Accuracy of information : 5 marks
Clarity of chart (easy to study, understand): 5 marks
Creativity & Design (creative use of space, colours, fonts): 5 marks
Note: Write every group member’s name and Admin No. clearly on the assignment.

AHEM. MR Cass lost 2 bucks to the rest of the fellow participants. MR Perry made 3 bucks from the rest (congrats but the WTH laaaaa. ROFL). MISS Sotong lost her balance a few times and bleed REAL BAD YO. do go her house to visit her, hehs. CHOI!
